Have you ever wondered why other organizations are winning grants and yours isn't? Jessica has the unique perspective of one who has made grants from one of the largest community foundations in the world, and of one who has raised over $50M in grants for many types of nonprofits. Sign up for the series and set the dates that work for you. Jessica will teach you or your staff about the foundation world and how to: conduct research into grant opportunities and funders, use research tools, read 990s, make an introduction to a foundation, write an LOI, write government and private grants, coordinate and communicate across internal departments, develop and manage a grant pipeline, write reports, and more. This training course is 8 hours and spans 4 sessions. I. Intro to foundations, grants, tools, and research methods II. Development of grants pipeline, rating, prioritization, introductions to program officers, and writing the grant III. Review of and feedback on trainee's grant draft, deadlines and time management, cross-department collaboration and communication, project management/database tools IV.
